This is the first time, Keerthy Suresh will share the screen space with Rajinikanth in a film.

Rajinikanth starrer Thalaivar 168 will be directed by Siva, whose last films were with Ajith, Vivegam in 2017 and Viswasam, that was a successful movie last year. Meanwhile, comedian Soori has also been roped in to star alongside Rajinikanth.  In this film in  #Thalaivar168, Rajinikanth will be seen playing the role of a police officer which will be set against the backdrop of a village.
