The Cabinet meeting chaired by CM Jagan has ended. Cabinet has given green signal to the projects approved in the SIPB meeting. The Cabinet meeting was held in the first block of the State Secretariat. The Cabinet approved several key decisions in this meeting. It is reported that 55 topics were discussed in the meeting which lasted for three and a half hours.

The Cabinet approved the projects approved in the State Investment Promotion Board meeting. CRDA has given green signal for construction of 47 thousand houses in R5 zone. The Cabinet has approved the borrowing of Rs 3,880 crore by Power Finance Corporation for the construction of Bhavanapadu-Mulapet Port in Srikakulam district. The Cabinet approved the allotment of agricultural land and Lanka land to the landless poor in the state. The AP Cabinet has given green signal for setting up of many industries in the state and allotment of land. The Cabinet has taken a key decision on allotment of land to the poor. The security implementation of Jagan  was also discussed in the cabinet meeting.

The Cabinet has given approval to assign full rights to 66,111 people in a total of 63,191,84 acres of assignment lands. The Cabinet approved the implementation of YSR zero interest scheme. The Cabinet approved the construction of 47 thousand houses in Amaravati CRDA. The Cabinet has given a green signal to increase the retirement age of permanent faculty in the university to 65 years. The Cabinet approved the amendment of the law without resignation for priests. The state cabinet has taken a decision to increase the retirement age of tax department employees from 60 to 62 years.
