Now according to the latest update, KGF: Chapter 2 has created a New All-time Record for IMAX Screens as the movie minted Rs 5.81 Crs for the Opening weekend in IMAX and crushed the record of SpiderMan: No Way Home. At the worldwide box office, the movie has minted Rs 8.40 Crs from IMAX 95 Screens.

The film KGF 2 is helmed by Prashanth Neel, is a sequel to the Kannada blockbuster KGF Chapter 1. The first section of the story follows an underdog who subsequently becomes a violent gangster, with Rocking star Yash in the lead. Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt, Prakash Raj, Raveena Tandon, Malavika Avinash, John Kokken, and Saran also star in the sequel.
