Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge lashed out at Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Modi is accused of leading a corrupt alliance by instigating central agencies against opposition leaders. Referring to Congress leader Rahul Gandhi’s allegations against businessman Gautam Adani’s Shell companies, Kharge made a series of tweets. He asked who invested 20 thousand crores. Kharge rejected Prime Minister Modi’s criticism of the opposition that all the corrupt have become one.

Kharge tweeted in Hindi: Who owns Rs 20,000 crore in Adani’s shell companies? Are Lalit Modi, Nirav Modi, Mehul Choksi, Vijay Mallya, Jatin Mehta, etc members of your ‘Bhrashtachari Bhagao Abhiyan’? Are you the convenor of this alliance? Stop trying to boost your image by calling yourself an anti-corruption warrior. “He asked Modi more questions.

‘First you should examine yourself. Why are there allegations that your government is taking 40 percent commission in Karnataka? Why are you involved in the No.1 corrupt government in Meghalaya? Are BJP leaders not involved in Sanjeevani cooperative scam in Rajasthan, the potion scam in Madhya Pradesh and the non-scam in Chhattisgarh?’ He asked.

Kharge challenged the Prime Minister to set up a joint parliamentary committee to investigate the Adani case.

Rahul Gandhi’s disqualification from Lok Sabha following his conviction in a criminal defamation case has also become a rallying point for the Opposition.
