BRS Working President and Minister KTR accused Congress of copying the names of the schemes in the manifesto given by BRS during the last elections.

In the election manifesto announced by the BRS in the last election, the Congress party criticized the names of the schemes and misled the people of Telangana as six guarantees. KTR fumed that the history of losing the elections is Congress’s and it is the Congress party’s lack of clear understanding of Telangana.

Some of the major promises mentioned in the manifesto released by the BRS party for the Telangana assembly elections on Sunday morning were explained. KTR said that KCR has prepared this manifesto for the development and welfare of all communities. KTR highlighted the scheme called KCR Bima which provides insurance coverage of 5 lakhs.

He explained that about 95 lakh families in Telangana will be benefited by KCR Bima. He praised the Telangana Annapurna scheme which provides small rice to families with ration cards.

KTR also supported the Saubagya Lakshmi scheme introduced to help the women of the state. The Minister explained that these schemes are part of the plan undertaken by Chief Minister KCR to improve the lives of the people of Telangana. The goal of the government is to make the weaker sections and poor families in the state live independently.

The minister criticized that the Congress party has completely failed to keep the promises made during the rule of the united Andhra Pradesh in the past. He said that the Congress made promises of free electricity and cheap rice, but these promises were not implemented later. KTR commented that BRS is committed to social welfare.
