BRS working president KTR reacted strongly to Congress leader Manickam Tagore who sent a notice that he would file a defamation suit against him. In response to Manickam Tagore’s comments on ‘X,’ BRS working president KTR clarified that the accusations of a Rs. 50 cr bribe were made by Congress leader Komatireddy Venkata Reddy.
BRS leader KTR also said: Manickam Garu, Why are you in a confused mode and misdirecting these notices? It was your colleague congressman and MP Venkat Reddy who had alleged on record that Revanth Reddy bribed you and bought the PCC president post for Rs 50 Cr. I had quoted the same since it was reported widely in the media. Neither did Komatireddy Venkata Reddy withdraw the allegation nor did he offer an explanation till date Suggest that you redirect the defamation notice to the right address of Mr. Komatireddy Venkata Reddy, who now sits in the Telangana secretariat
During his recent visit to Sirisilla, KTR commented that Komatireddy Venkata Reddy claimed that Revanth Reddy had given a bribe of Rs 50 cr to Manikkam Tagore. Manikkam Tagore has sent notices to KTR saying that he made comments that would damage his reputation. He warned that he would file a defamation suit against KTR. KTR responded to these notices as above.
