In an interview given to a media organization in the background of Telangana assembly elections, KTR said that they want AP to develop as well. However, he said that the investors are facing problems there. The family of Jayadev, the head of Amararaja Company, is staying in Hyderabad. That is why they promised Telangana.
“We want to invest in AP as well. We don’t hate AP. Not much on TDP. But, during the arrest of Chandrababu, we stopped the protests in Hyderabad. Because Hyderabad should not be a battlefield for YCP-TDP. Telangana has become the first attraction for those who think they cannot stay in AP. It is the same for industries,” said KTR. Meanwhile, it is known that Amararaja Company established its second division in Hyderabad last year.
