IPL founder and former IPL chief Lalit Modi reacted strongly to the comments made by Congress leader Rahul Gandhi in the past. As part of the 2019 election campaign, Rahul Gandhi  made comments about how all thieves got the surname Modi. Surat court sentenced Rahul Gandhi to two years imprisonment in this case. Due to this, he lost his eligibility as an MP. Lalit Modi has announced that he will take Rahul to the British court for his comments on behalf of the Modi family. Lalit Modi made a series of tweets on Twitter.

Lalit Modi said, “Gandhi’s colleagues repeatedly say that I am a fugitive from the judicial process. I have not been found guilty. So common citizen. Opposition leaders have nothing else to do so they are either spreading false propaganda or vindictive. I decided to fight against Rahul Gandhi in the UK court. I believe he will come with some evidence. I look forward to proving him a complete fool.”

Lalit Modi said that many Congress leaders have assets abroad. Lalit  said that he will also send the address and photos and advised the people of India not to fool themselves.

Lalit Modi  further added, “I have decided to take Rahul Gandhi to court in UK right away. I am sure he will have to come up with some solid evidence. I look forward to seeing him make a complete fool of himself.”
