As the massive step towards the public welfare, Jagan’s government is making firm ground to strike strong towards the 3,500 liquor shops as part of liquor ban in AP. YSRCP government is now all set to impose liquor ban over the whooping 3,500 liquor shops from October 1st. From the update, it was known that the Andhra Pradesh State Beverages Corporation Limited (APSBCL) will be taking charge over the liquor business from next month. The news was confirmed by the Deputy Chief Minister and Excise Minister Naryanaswamy told IANS on Saturday.

The Deputy CM further revealed that the Jagan’s government has confiscated 475 liquor shops under its control since September 1st. On to this Narayanaswamy has told that the government has lowered the count of liquor outlets to 3,500 which was 4,380 earlier. Further, the government has been designing a strategy to chop off the number of liquor outlets. He told that the last government has allowed the functioning of 43,000 belt shops which all were now shut down as soon as YS Jagan took oath as CM.

Excise Minister has also said that the government has also laid the strict protocols against the illegal liquor outlets.
