Bollywood is presently in the process of remaking as many as 24 films that were originally South Indian hits. Kartik Aaryan is playing the lead role in Shehzada , the remake of Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo which is directed by Rohit Dhawan. Akshay Kumar will be seen in the remake of Ratsasan, a Tamil thriller, along with Rakul Preet.
Ajay Devgn will star in the remake of Kaithi. Hrithik Roshan and John Abraham were being considered for the role, in Soorarai Pottru. It is being heard that Akshay Kumar has reportedly bagged the role. Rajkummar Rao will be seen in remake of HIT.
