The deadline for submitting the applications for Congress tickets to participate in Lok Sabha polls ended on Saturday. The party accepted applications from aspirants for 4 days from January 31 to February 3.  The reports are coming that a total of 306 applications have been received for the 17 Lok Sabha seats in Telangana.

As the assembly elections are over and the Congress party has taken over the reins of power in the state, discussions are going on about the parliamentary elections. With the elections for the MP positions approaching, the political debate has started on the issue of who will get the tickets this time. More importantly, there is a debate going on about who will be lucky in the ruling Congress party.

This time the discussion about who will get Khammam MP ticket from Congress has just started. Congress party has shown power in Khammam assembly elections. But like in the past, will Renuka Chaudhary get the MP ticket this time too? Or will a new one come to the fore? It became quite interesting.

Renuka Choudhary, who played politics at the centre of Khammam district and was elected to parliament and worked as a Union minister, is talking about whether she will get Khammam ticket this time. Renuka, a non-local, has been pushing politics in Khammam district till now, claiming to be a “Khammam female child”. But will she get a ticket this time?

On the last day, Nandini Mallu, the wife of deputy chief minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka, submitted her application seeking a nomination from Khammam Lok Sabha seat.
