Mahanati 22 days Box Office CollectionsMahanati, the biopic of legendary South Indian actress Savitri, directed by Nag Ashiwn, starring Keerthy Suresh, Dulquer Salmaan, Samantha Akkineni and Vijay Deverakonda in lead roles released on 9th May 2018  amidst high expectations.  According to the traders report,  Mahanati has earned Rs 24.4 Cr shares at the box office of both Telugu states- Andhra Pradesh and Telanagana after the successful run of 22 days. The area-wise break up are as follows.

Keerthy Suresh plays the titular role whereas Dulquer Salmaan essays Gemini Ganesan, the husband of Savitri in Mahanati.  Number of celebrities like  Rajamouli, Jr.NTR, Minister KTR, Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh Chandrababu Naidu have already showered their praises on this biopic and the performance of its star cast.

 Recently the makers of Mahanati shared Samantha’s deleted scenes from Mahanati on social media sites, which are going viral.  In the latest video, Samantha is seen praying to God and her father suggests her to pray Venkateswara Swamy on Saturday instead of Goddess Laxmi. Her father also suggests her to take Upma instead of Dosa.

 The former Chief Minister of AP Kasu Brahmananda Reddy’s son and Ex-minister Kasu Krishna Reddy shared many facts about Mahanati Savitri. He said, his mother used to have very good relations with  the actress Savitri and they used to go for shopping together in Chennai. He also  shared about honouring Savitri with ‘Gajarohanam’ in City Hyderabad when his father was the CM of Andhra Pradesh. Speaking about Savitri’s addiction to alcohol, he said situations had made her to take the support of alcohol though she wasn’t inclined to do it. Krishna Reddy also praised Mahanati Savitri for her generosity, patriotism and philanthropic nature.
