DJ and Aravinda Sametha Veera Raghava fame Pooja Hegde is playing the love interest of Mahesh Babu whereas Allari Naresh will be seen playing Mahesh Babu’ friend in Maharshi, which is being directed by Vamsi Paidipally of Oopiri fame and is bankrolled by C. Ashwini Dutt, Dil Raju and Prasad V. Potluri, under the banners of Vyjayanthi Movies, Sri Venkateswara Creations and PVP Cinema. The film has the music by sensational music composer Devi Sri Prasad.

The first lyrical song ‘Choti Choti Baatein’ from the flick was released a couple of days ago which received an overwhelming response from listeners.
