PepsiCo backed beverage brand Mountain Dew unveiled its new ‘Darr Ke Aage Jeet Hai’ campaign few days ago, with a television commercial featuring a new brand ambassador Telugu superstar Mahesh Babu. Mahesh Babu has been using his popularity to star in commercials as brand ambassador for famous brands. The brands are also ready to pay him handsomely. According to the latest report, Mahesh Babu was paid Rs 12 Cr for Mountain Dew for Burj Khalifa Ad film.
Earlier Shah Rukh Khan charged Rs 10 cr to appear in an Ad film and it was said that highest at that point in time. But Mahesh Babu, the Telugu superstar managed to crack a deal worth of Rs 12 Cr with Mountain Dew ad film.
The ad started to a bird’s eye view shot from the top of Burj Khalifa where Mahesh Babu gears up to represent India by performing a daredevil stunt and making a new world record. Mahesh Babu took a sip of the drink, looks resolute as he plunges off from the top of Burj Khalifa on his bike defying all odds.
On the otherside, Mahesh Babu will be seen playing the lead role in Sarkaaru Vaari Paata after. He will join Trivikram Srinivas film from April with dusky siren Pooja Hegde.
