Hyderabad district has majority of male voters. There are 44,42,458 voters in all 15 assembly constituencies of the district, of which 21,62,577 are female voters and 22,79,581 are male voters. That means male voters are about 5.41 percent more than women.
Bahadurpura has the highest number of third gender voters with 51 followed by Goshamahal with 30, Charminar and Yakutpura with 28 third gender voters. There are 163 people in the remaining 11 constituencies.
In the revised list of voters released under the second special summary revision, there are a total of 24,163 differently abled (PWD) voters. Among them, 13,622 are men, 10,540 are women, and one third gender is disabled. They are about 0.054 percent of the total electorate.
In Hyderabad district there are third gender and disabled voters as well as service voters. In total 15 assembly constituencies there are 404 service voters out of which 367 are men and 37 are women. A service voter is usually a member of the armed forces or a person appointed by the Government of India outside their home village. These voters can cast their vote either by postal ballot or through a proxy voter duly appointed to them.
There are a total of 847 NRI voters in the city out of which 653 are male and 194 are female voters. While Mushirabad has the highest number of NRI voters at 97, Khairatabad has 90 and Goshamahal has the lowest at 13.
