A few days ago, YS Sharmila’s son, YS Raja Reddy, tied the knot with Priya Atluri which embraced both Hindu and Christian traditions. This dual tradition marriage took place in Jodhpur, Rajasthan, where families of bride and groom radiated happiness throughout the wedding festivities. Sharmila’s mother YS Vijayamma was among those who attended the wedding. Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge and party general secretary KC Venugopal attended the wedding reception of YS Sharmila Reddy’s son Raja Reddy on Saturday, February 24.
Telangana CM A Revanth Reddy, Deputy CM Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka, several state ministers, AICC in-charge for Telangana Deepadas Munshi and several Congress leaders attended the reception held in Hyderabad. YS Sharmila’s husband Anil Kumar, and other family members also attended the reception held in Hyderabad.
Earlier, CM Revanth Reddy and other senior Congress leaders received Mallikarjun Kharge and Venugopal at the airport.
However, YS Sharmila’s brother and AP CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy did not attend the wedding or the reception of Raja Reddy. Jagan Mohan Reddy had blessed the couple at the engagement held in Hyderabad last month.
