Delhi Deputy CM Manish Sisodia, who is facing serious charges in the Delhi Liquor Scam, was arrested by the CBI yesterday evening. He was taken into custody and taken to their headquarters in Delhi. He spent the entire night in CBI central office. CBI will present him in court today. A medical examination will be conducted on him before entering the court.
On the other hand, after CBI arrested Manish Sisodia, Chief Minister Kejriwal met his family members. Kejriwal said on this occasion that BJP is doing all this as part of political conspiracies. People will definitely punish BJP. He has also called the arrest of his deputy Manish Sisodia “dirty politics” and warned that “the people will respond”.
On the other hand, AAP MLA Saurabh Bharadwaj said that they already knew that CBI would arrest Delhi Deputy CM Manish Sisodia. He alleged that the CBI is running completely under the guidance of the BJP. On the otherside, AAP is also planning to stage a protest outside BJP Headquarters in Delhi today at 12 noon.
AAP national General Secretary Sandeep Pathak said that they would protest across the country today.
The minister Gopal Rai said that AAP will observe Black Day today over Mr Sisodia’s arrest.
