‘Masooda‘ is the third film produced under the banner of ‘Swadharma Entertainment’, which has given good hits like ‘Malli Raava’ and ‘Agent Sai Srinivasa Atreya’ to the audience. Kavya Kalyan Ram, who is known as ‘Gangotri’ child artist, is a special attraction in this film based on a horror story. The teaser and trailer of this film got a super response. Story : Neelam (Sangeetha), who is estranged from her husband due to some reasons, lives thinking that her daughter Nazia (Bandhavi Sridhar) is everything. A man named Gopi (Thiruveer) also lives next door to Neelam. He is very scared. But he loves his colleague Mini (Kavya Kalyan Ram). Also Gopi helps Neelam in any need. But surprisingly, Nazia behaves a little strangely.
In this order, they think that she is possessed by a demon. They make many efforts to save her. Why was Nazia possessed by a demon? What does that devil want? What happened to Gopi.. Mini’s love affair? Who is Masuda? What happened to Neelam’s life in the end? Did she protect her child? For such things, you have to see ‘Masuda’.
Performance of actors: Every role in Masooda is very important. But the entire story revolves around Gopi’s character. Thiruveer acted well in this role. Although he is mostly popular with villain roles, this role stands out as special in his career. Sangeeta also impresses with her trademark performance. It can be said that Neelam’s character gives more mileage to her second innings. Kavya Kalyan Ram acted well in the scope of her role.
It must be said that Bandhavi, who played the role of Nazia, was really scary. I don’t know how much hard work she did, but she got into that role. Masood’s character is the main strength of the movie. Telling more about that character would be a spoiler. Actors like Satyam Rajesh, Subhalekha Sudhakar and Satya Prakash also did justice to their roles.
Performance of Technicians : Although the story looks old, the way it is crafted is new and impressive. Director Sai Kiran should be specially congratulated in this regard. When it comes to horror movies, the background score is more important. Music director Prashant R. Vihari has provided good background music.
Nagesh Banel’s camera work is also captivating. It seems that the producer also spent according to the story and did not lack anywhere. It can be said that the run time is 2 hours and 40 minutes. But it doesn’t feel like a big minus as there are a lot of scary scenes. It seems that there is something hidden for the sequel as well.
