Master Movie Collections: Vijay and Vijay Sethupathi are on the cloud nine as their recent outing ‘Master’ is faring well at the box office. Few days ago, the central government granted the permission to open cinema halls with 50 % occupancy. The filmmakers also didn’t expect that the film will do marvelous business at the box office but Master is winning the heart of the movie lovers. According to the traders report, Thalapathy Vijay starrer film Master has crossed the benchmark of Rs 200 crore worldwide with Rs 100 crore in Tamil Nadu alone.
The film Master has managed to cross Rs 200 cr at the Worldwide box office after the successful run of 8 days.
Lokesh Kanagaranj’ directorial venture Master has also made Vijay the only star with four Rs 100 crore grossing films in Tamil Nadu, beating the likes of Rajinikanth and Thala Ajith.
As the action drama Master crossing Rs 100 crore in Tamil Nadu, Thalapathy Vijay has got four films that have achieved the feat in the state – Bigil, Mersal, and Sarkar. On the otherside, both Ajith and Rajinikanth both have got one film crossing Rs 100 crore in Tamil Nadu.
Master has also grossed over Rs 13 crore from Telugu States- Andhra Pradesh/ Telangana alone and the action drama has been declared a ‘blockbuster’.
