A police case has been registered against those who forged the signature of Minister Errabelli Dayakar Rao for double bedroom houses. The accused also forged the minister’s letterhead as well as his signature. When the matter came to the minister’s attention, he filed a police complaint against them.
OSD SM Rajeswara Rao has lodged a complaint with the Banjara Hills police against those who forged the minister’s signature. In the complaint, the minister asked to take action against those who forged the letterhead and signature.
Mohammad Gaus Pasha of Narregudem, Aminpur mandal of Sangareddy district is dealing in mobile phones. Gunti Shekhar from the same district was doing a private job. They wanted to get double bedroom houses and benefit from the welfare schemes provided by the government.
According to the scheme, a letterhead was prepared with the name of Panchayati Raj Minister Errabelli Dayakar Rao. After that they forged the minister’s signature on it and applied for the schemes. While investigating the applications of double bedroom houses, the revenue staff got doubt about the recommendation letters received in the name of the minister.
The letters along with the applications were brought to the attention of the Minister OSD. It was examined and found to be forged signatures and lodged a complaint with the OSD and Banjara Hills police. The police registered a case against the accused under sections 419, 420, 464, 468 and 471 of the IPC.
