Telangana Minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy fell ill. He started having a sore throat during the elections and recently it got worse. So he was admitted to Somajiguda Yashoda Hospital.

Komati Reddy Venkat Reddy went to the national capital New Delhi after taking charge as Telangana Roads, Buildings and Cinematography Minister. After winning the assembly election as an MLA, he resigned from the post of MP. He presented his resignation letter along with the Speaker of the Lok Sabha. He also asked the Chairman of National Highway Authority of India to take up the expansion of national highways in Telangana. Komati Reddy, who went to Delhi last Monday, recently reached Hyderabad.

But Komati Reddy got a throat infection due to campaigning without a break during the election, he had to give a lot of speeches. And due to the current weather conditions, it has increased. As soon as he reached Hyderabad from Delhi, Minister Komati Reddy Venkat Reddy was admitted to Yashoda Hospital for treatment. The doctors who examined him say that there is no big risk with this infection.   

Former Chief Minister KCR is also undergoing treatment at the same Somajiguda Yashoda Hospital. KCR was seriously injured when he accidentally slipped in the farmhouse bathroom. The doctors of Yashoda Hospital operated on him due to fracture of the hip bone. Due to this, he has been staying in the hospital for a few days. Now Minister Komati Reddy has also been admitted to the hospital and police security has been increased.
