Dr Chennamaneni Ramesh Babu obtained his Ph.D from the prestigious Humboldt University in Germany with research in ‘Agricultural Economics’.  The Chief Minister has decided to use his extensive knowledge and vast experience in the field of agriculture economy as a research student and professor in the context of the state’s agricultural sector developing day by day and reaching the number one position in the country for the development of the state’s farmers and agriculture.

Chennamaneni Ramesh Babu won four times as MLA from Vemulawada constituency. However, BRS has allotted the Vemulawada seat to Chalmeda Lakshminarasimha Rao in the next election. Chennamaneni’s supporters were disappointed as a result. Also, a post made by sitting MLA Ramesh Babu on his Facebook account, recalling the words of his father Rajeshwar Rao saying that politics should not be done for people but for positions, has become a topic of discussion in political circles.
