Several poster against India’ PM Narendra Modi were found in different parts of capital city Delhi and the posters read “Modi hatao, desh bachao”.
At least 100 FIRs were registered by Delhi Police in connection with t pasting of posters against PM Narendra Modi and the poster read “Modi hatao, desh bachao.”
According to the latest report, the Delhi Police has arrested at least 6 people and registered more than 100 FIRs in connection with “objectionable posters”, including those with derogatory remarks against PM Narendra Modi, across the national capital. The arrested people also include owners of 2 printing press.
The Police have removed about 2000 posters without permission in different parts of Delhi. These posters ‘Modi Hatao, Desh Bachao’ were put up in different parts of Delhi from Sunday (March 19, 2023) till Monday morning. It didn’t even have the name of the person who printed it. These posters were pasted not only on public places and government buildings, but also on many private properties. The posters did not have the name of printing press. After getting information about this, the Delhi Police got about 2,000 posters removed from different parts. Delhi Police is investigating the matter by registering 100 FIRs under the Public Property Act along with the Printing Press Act.
A Van coming out of AAP office has been seized and the reports claim that 50000 posters were ordered.
