Popular political leader, Mukul Roy of TMC is missing! It seems that he disappeared after a fight with his son. His son Subhargushu Roy told the media that Mukul Roy has not been seen since Monday evening.
Mukul Roy was scheduled to leave Kolkata for Delhi on Monday evening. But it seems that he was not in the plane. “He was supposed to land in Delhi at 9 pm. But that didn’t happen. Mukul Roy is nowhere to be seen,” said close friends of this political leader.
However, it seems that there was a fight between father and son on Monday. It is noteworthy that he disappeared after the fight. On the other hand, after the death of his wife, Mukul Roy’s health problems increased. He was also admitted to the hospital in February this year.
As per his flight ticket, Mukul Roy had a Indigo flight scheduled for Delhi from Kolkata at 7:35 pm. The flight tracker confirms that the plane landed in Delhi at its scheduled time of 9:55 pm.
Mukul Roy a former TMC no two, joined Bharitya Janata Party- BJP in 2017 after clashing with the party’s leadership. He was appointed as Bharitya Janata Party national vice-president.
He won the 2021 assembly polls on a BJP ticket and later returned to the TMC after the results were announced.
