Naga Chaitanya Play CricketerNaga Chaitanya will be seen playing cricket in his upcoming untitled movie, which will be helmed by Shiva Nirvana. Naga Chaitanya’s wife Samantha Akkineni is on the board to play the female lead role.

Recently Naga Chaitanya has joined hands with Ninnu Kori director Shiva Nirvana for an upcoming romantic entertainer. According to the latest buzz in the film Industry, Naga Chaitanya will be seen essaying the role of Cricketer.  The makers have also announced that Samantha Akkineni will play the love interest of Naga Chaitanya in this film. This untitled film will be the first film for the couple post their wedding.

 This is the first time Naga Chaitanya is going to act in any sport based movie. Director Shiva Nirvana made his debut with decent hit movie Ninnu Kori in which Nani, Aadhi Pinisetty and Nivetha Thomas played the lead role.

Recently Naga Chaitanya also wrote on the wall of her microblogging page, “Happy to announce my next directed by shiva produced by @Shine_Screens and will be sharing screen space with my better half @Samanthaprabhu2 ..feels good to be back to being able to take you through another journey of love.” Earlier Naga Chaitanya and Samantha  have worked together for Akkineni family drama Manam.

The sources close to Naga Chaitanya say,  “Naga Chaitanya loves cricket and when the makers approached him and revealed about his character, he did not look back and gave his nod.”

Recently Arjun Reddy and Pelli Choopulu fame Vijay Deverakonda and Natural Star Nani also announced their project in which they will essay the role of cricketer. Interestingly, this will be the first time Naga Chaitanya will be seen in such a role.

 Meanwhile Naga Chaitanya is waiting for the release of his next upcoming movie Savyasachi, directed by Chandoo Mondeti whereas Samantha Akkineni is busy in the shoot of remake of U Turn and waiting for the release of Seema Raja.
