The sources say that Akhil’s next film will be a bilingual, which will be made in Telugu and Hindi. Rumored to be helmed by Aadhi Pinisetty’s brother Sathya Prabhas Pinisetty, the Telugu version will be produced by Nagarjuna himself under his home banner whereas Karan Johar will bankrolled the Hindi version of Akhil’s film. The official confirmation is awaited regarding this.
Currently Nagarjuna is also working with Karan Johar for his Bollywood movie Bhramastra, which is being directed by Ayan Mukerji, in which Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt are playing the lead roles whereas Amitabh Bachchan, Nagarjuna, Mouni Roy and Dimple Kapadia will be seen playing supporting role.
Recently during the media interaction, Akkineni Akhil also opened up about his Bollywood debut and said, “I will think about Bollywood (Hindi)debut only after establishing and scoring few hits in Telugu Film Industry. If I get really a good script, I will consider it but will try to make it a bilingual in both Hindi and Telugu rather than just a Bollwood movie. As Telugu is my mother tongue, I have no plans to go far away to star in other languages.”
Akhil and Venky Atluri’s movie is Sri Venkateswara Cine Creations’ 25th project. It can make or break Akhil Akkineni’s career as his debut film Akhil: The Power of Jua was a disaster at the box office, and his second film Hello did not perform too well either. Nidhhi Agerwal is playing the female lead.
