National General Secretary of TDP Nara Lokesh said that as soon as they come to power, they will cancel JVO-217 brought by the Jagan government at the expense of fishermen. He promised to reduce the electricity charges and cancel the garbage tax and occupation tax.

He said that TDP has a lot of work to do after coming to power. He said that once they come to power, they will bring back industries, create jobs and repair roads. He said that the state currently has debts of Rs 11 lakh crore. He said that almost 90 percent of the promises made in the 2014 election manifesto have been fulfilled. He clarified that TDP is the only party that has implemented around 120 welfare programs for the poor.

Nara Lokesh said that there is no need for any doubt about where he will contest in the next election and he is going to contest from Mangalagiri again.

Lokesh said that I will not tell the reason for the defeat of BRS. He added that Jagan government has destroyed all the systems in the state and people know that they will be restored after Chandrababu comes to power. He said that the fact that people will not tolerate arrogance has been proved in the recent elections and he personally cannot say what is the reason for BRS’s defeat in Telangana.

He made it clear that priority will be given to the youth in the next elections. He said that the YCP government has cut 10 percent of the 34 percent reservation implemented by Chandrababu for BCs, and they will correct it again after TDP comes to power.
