AP Minister Chelluboyina Venu criticized TDP youth leader Nara Lokesh‘s Yuvagalam Padayatra. He claimed that Nara Lokesh was doing padayatra to lose weight. He commented that Yuvagalam padayatra was a mere cat walk. He said that he does not understand why he is doing this. Senior TDP leader Ayyannapatra said earlier that there is no use of padayatra, but Lokesh ignored it. Lokesh has repeatedly said that he is writing a red book. What will he do by writing a red book when the padayatra itself has no value? Apart from taking selfies and posing for photographs, there is no great value of the padayatra. He said that YCP will win again in the next election.
Chelluboyina Venu said that the traditional purpose of such journeys is to listen to people’s complaints but Lokesh’s initiative seems to lack a clear objective.
He expressed confidence in the policies of YCP government, and claimed that the people of Andhra Pradesh are satisfied.
