Addressing at the Pre-Release event of Sukumar’s directorial venture Rangasthalam in Vishakhapatnam, Megastar Chiranjeevi greeted his fans and all well-wishers on the occasion of Ugadi yesterday. Chiru brought to memory of some of the movies in which he acted and that depicted the scenic beauty of the Visakhapatnam City. He also lauded the city people for their simplicity and love they showered at them.
On this occasion, Chiranjeevi said, “I have seen the rough cut of Rangasthalam without any background score and I am confident that this Rangasthalam movie will be a blockbuster because of the substance it carries. Chiru also appreciated the performance of Ram Charan who is playing Chitti Babu. Mega Star also heaped praise on director Sukumar for directing the film in a fantastic manner and also handling the hero character of commercial movie with hearing disability. He also praised the art director for creating natural village set in posh area like Jubillee hills. He spoke high about the movie and remarked this movie will win national awards. He concluded it by saying that if Rangasthalam doesn’t win Awards it would be disappointing.
Chiru also revealed that climax of Rangsthalam will be highly emotional. His speech and presence excited and thrilled the mega fans at the event.
Samantha Akkineni is playing the female lead. Apart from her, the film has others stars like Aadhi Pinsetty, Anasuya Bharadwaj and Jagapathi Babu in important role in this village based drama, which has the music by Devi Sri Prasad.
