
NCW- National Commission for Women has summoned BRS MLC Padi Kaushik Reddy to appear before it on the 21st February in connection with his controversial remarks on the governor Tamilisai Soundarajan.
The NCW said that it took suo motu notice of his derogatory comments. The remark is dangerous and demeaning to her (Tamilisai Soundarajan) dignity.”
The commission had served a notice on the legislator on 14th February and directed him to appear before it in-person in New Delhi on 21st February. If MLC Padi Kaushik Reddy fails to appear, NCW would take necessary action.
The Women’s Commission became serious about the comments made by MLC Padi Kaushik Reddy on the Governor. Notices were given to him. Telangana Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan and CM KCR have been at loggerheads for a long time. BRS leaders openly criticized the behavior of the Governor on many occasions. Moreover, the Governor also criticized the attitude of the government.
Kaushik Reddy used inappropriate language for Tamilisai while questioning why the Governor is not clearing the files of bills passed in the Assembly and Council. There was severe criticism on this. There is a demand to take action against Kaushik Reddy. The BJP leaders expressed their anger over Kaushik Reddy’s comments.
