Netflix acquires Manmadhudu 2 for Rs 7.40 Cr
Akkineni Nagarjuna is making his comeback with action and romantic entertainer Manmadhudu 2, which is directed by Rahul Ravindran. Now according to the latest update, the leading digital streaming platform Netflix has acquired Akkineni Nagarjuna starrer Manmadhudu 2 for a whopping Rs 7.40 crores.
Currently all eyes are Manmadhudu and Netiflix deal also has increased the craze surrounding the movie. Rakul Preet Singh is playing the female lead. Apart from Rakul and Nagarjuna, the movie also starring Keerthy Suresh, Samantha Akkineni and Akshara Gowda in supporting roles. The 2019 Telugu romantic comedy film is being directed by Rahul Ravindran, and it has the music by Chaithan Bharadwaj. It is a sequel to super hit flick Manmadhudu, and it marks the first time collaboration Rakul Preet Singh and Nagarjuna as a pair on screen. Manmadhudu was helmed by Vijaya Bhaskar whereas it’s story, screenplay and dialogues were penned by the ace director Trivikram Srinivas.
Manmadhudu 2 is Rahul Ravindran’ second directorial project. He made his directorial debut with Telugu romantic drama Chi La Sow, which was bankrolled by Akkineni Nagarjuna under the banner of Annapurna Studios.
On the other side, Akkineni Nagarjuna is also busy in controversial reality show Bigg Boss 3 Telugu. He is the host of the show.
