NGK Collections: Suriya starrer much-awaited movie NGK has completed its first weekend. The movie was released on 31st May 2019 and received mixed response on its opening day. Currently the movie is doing decent collections at the box office. Yesterday, in Nizam, Suriya, Sai Pallavi and Rakul Preet Singh starrer NGK collected a distributor share of Rs 24.32 lakhs from a gross of Rs 76.90 lakhs. The first weekend collections of NGK in Nizam area is Rs 1.05 crore shares.
In Chennai City, NGK is turning out Suriya’ best-ever opening as it earned Rs 1.03 crore on the first day. And on second day, the movie minted Rs 1.07 crore to take its two-day total to Rs 2.10 crore. On Sunday, the movie made a collection of Rs 97 lakh. The 3 days total collection of NGK is Chennai is said to be Rs 3.07 crore.
The trade analyst Ramesh Bala tweeted, “@Suriya_offl ‘s #NGK rocks the #Chennai City Box office for the Opening weekend.. Debuts at No.1 and grosses a huge ₹ 3.07 Crs for 3 days..”
Performance of Suirya is said to be one of the major highlight of this film. NGK is directed by Selvaraghavan and is jointly bankrolled by S. R. Prakashbabu, S. R. Prabhu. This is the first time, Suriya and Selvaraghavan worked together for a movie.
