Young hero Nikhil last year made a confident come back with the film Arjun Suravaram. After the film’s success, Nikhil has taken some time off and has set up two interesting films. One of the film is Karthikeya 2 in the direction of Chandoo Mondeti and the other one is 18 pages in the direction of Palnati Surya Pratap of Kumari 21F fame. Sukumar and Geetha Arts 2 banner are collectively producing this project.
Coming to Karthikeya 2, it is already made clear that though the title suggests to be a sequel, Karthikeya 2 is not a sequel and doesn’t have any resemblance to the first part which is a block buster hit. The only link is the hero’s characterization. Karthikeya 2 is based on a temple in Dwaraka and its hidden secrets.
Latest update about the project is that makers have been thinking to make it a Pan India project. Off late, Tollywood is more interested in Pan India projects. There are currently 5-6 projects which have been thinking to go Pan India route. Karthikeya 2 is joining this list. Makers of the film are thinking that as the story have Pan India appeal it will work out in other languages too.
