Former MP Undavalli Arun Kumar has criticized the central government for the cause of poverty in the country. He said that even after the Law Commission rejected the Common Citizenship Amendment Act, it is not right for the Center to think that this bill should be introduced in the Parliament sessions. He said that BJP wants to introduce this bill to get benefit in the next elections. He said that uniform civil code is part of BJP’s agenda.  Undavalli emphasized need for transparency from prominent leaders of AP regarding their stance on the uniform civil code.

Undavalli objected that there are no parties in AP that oppose Prime Minister Modi. He said that all the leaders of the major parties in the state are loyal to the BJP. He asked why the diaphragm wall of the Polavaram project was damaged. He said that those responsible should be identified and punished. He asked how much it would cost to construct a diaphragm wall. Do you build a full diaphragm wall?  He asked.

Undavalli Arun Kumar, a seasoned politician,  said Jana sena chief Pawan Kalyan’s Varahi Yatra was a success. He said that Pawan Kalyan has a hold in both Godavari districts.  He added that he is uncertain about which party Pawan Kalyan would align with.
