NOTA starring Vijay Deverakonda is one the most awaited movie of this year. It is a political thriller drama, in which Vijay Deverakonda will be seen playing Chief Minister of State and the movie also marks his Tamil debut. The makers of NOTA has brought a bad news for Vijay Deverakonda’s fans. Recently the makers announced that NOTA, the bilingual Tamil-Telugu movie will be released on 4th October and now according to the latest update, the makers have postponed the release of NOTA because of the delay in post production work. According to the latest buzz, NOTA will be released on 18th October on the occasion of Dussehra in both Telugu and Tamil language.
NOTA is directed by Anand Shankar, who was last in the news for his science fiction thriller Iru Mugan alongside Chiyaan Vikram, and bankrolled by Studio Green. Mehreen Kaur Pirzada is playing the female lead and will be seen as journalist. Vijay Deverakonda starrer NOTA will compete with Young Tiger Jr NTR and Pooja Hegde starrer Aravinda Sametha Veera Raghava in Tollywood, which is also arriving at the theaters on the eve of Dussehra on 11th October. In Kollywood, Vijay Deverakonda will have to compete with Vishal starrer Pandem Kodi 2.
The recently released trailer of NOTA gives a hint that it is an out and out political tale revolving around the rise of Vijay Deverakona’s character, who represents the younger generation and struggles to understand dirty politics.
The sources say that Vijay Deverakonda is taking Rs 3 Cr as remuneration for NOTA and he will be seen as CM only in the climax. The last 20 minutes of the movie will be the main highlight of NOTA. If NOTA emerges a winner at the box office, there will be no stopping for Arjun Reddy and Geetha Govindam fame Vijay Deverakonda in Tollywood and Kollywood.
