Bollywood film maker Anurag Kashyap’s daughter Aaliyah Kashyap is quite active on social media. She keeps sharing updates about her life via her YouTube channel and through her Instagram account. Aaliyah is the only daughter of filmmaker Anurag Kashyap and his ex-wife Aarti Bajaj. Anurag had earlier said that he had deleted his Twitter account in the year 2019 due to threats made to his parents and daughter.
Anurag Kashyap spoke about the battle with the depression and revealed that he went to rehab thrice. The filmmaker also recalled going off Twitter around the same time, when his daughter Aaliyah Kashyap was being trolled and getting rape threats on Twitter. He also said he had a heart attack last year.
The noted film maker said, “This was the time I went off Twitter because my daughter Aaliyah started getting trolled, getting rape threats and she started getting anxiety attacks.”
Anurag Kashyap added, “I have an amazing daughter Aaliyah. My daughter anxiety started after those rape threats and things like that. Her anxiety made me drop everything and run to US, and she came back here. Other than her anxiety issues, she is just amazing.”
