The ex-Bigg Boss Telugu contestant Nutan Naidu has been arrested by the Police in connection with the tonsuring incident of Dalit youth named Srikanthin Visakhapatnam. According to the latest update, Visakhapatnam Police Commissioner Manish Kumar Sinha said with the help of Karnataka Police, Nutan Naidu was detained and was produced in a Karnataka court. Now Nutan Naidu will be brought back in Visakhapatnam to interrogate him.
Nutan Naidu and his wife were behind the Dalit youth tonsuring incident. The police said that Nutan Naidu should be ashamed of calling himself a Jana Sena Party supporter. On Saturday, Police Commissioner Manish Kumar Sinha had said following a complaint lodged by the victim P Srikanth, the cop investigated the case and arrested the wife of Nutan Naidu. The commissioner had also alleged that Nutan Naidu used some popular names to cheat others. Some more cases of cheating and impersonating would likely be filed against him.
The Police Commissioner said Srikanth worked as a housekeeping boy at the house of Nutan Naidu for six months till he quit the job on 1st August.
Srikanth was abused and thrashed by some of the inmates and staff of Nutan Naidu with sticks and steel rods. After tonsuring Srikanth, a few of the accused reportedly took selfies with him and later they deleted them.
