Officer collections: Officer starring Akkineni Nagarjuna and Myra Sareen, which was released on 1st June 2018, received negative response by the movie lovers and critics. On its opening day, Officer was declared disaster at the box office. Finally Ram Gopal Varma aka RGV’s directorial venture Officer has completed its run and has collected Rs 1 Cr shares at Worldwide box office.

Officer is produced under the banner of under the banner R Company Productions, in which King Nagarjuna essayed the role of Police officer. Apart from Nagarjuna, the film Officer has other stars like Feroz Abbasi, Sayaji Shinde, baby Kavya and Ajay in important roles. The film has the music by Ravi Shankar.
After the release of Officer, when few media house reported that the makers of Officer forced distributors to buy Nagarjuna starrer cop drama, one of producer Sudheer Chandra came forward to admit that Officer has failed both creatively and financially, and he also condemned the media report saying they did not force to anyone to buy Officer.
Yesterday Ram Gopal Varma took to his twitter to announce his next upcoming project Virus, which will go on the floors very soon. On the other-side, Akkineni Nagajuna is currently busy in the shoot of his upcoming untitled film, in the direction of Sriram Aditya of Bhale Manchi Roju fame where Officer star is sharing the screen space with Natural Star Nani. The yet-untitled venture is being bankrolled by Ashwini Dutt.
