Officer is produced by Ram Gopal Varma aka RGV under the banner R Company Productions. Myra Sareen plays the female lead role in this action thriller. Apart from Nagarjuna and Myra Sareen, the film Officer has other stars like Feroz Abbasi, Sayaji Shinde and Ajay in supporting roles. The film has the music by Ravi Shankar.
In 1989, Ram Gopal Varma and Nagarjuna delivered a hit movie Siva. So expectations were high!
Interestingly, RGV is going through a bad phase on the professional front. And, needless to say, Officer was a crucial movie for him. On the otherside, recently Nagarjuna also announced that RGV will helm a movie for his younger son Akkineni Akhil. In the month of March RGV has confirmed this news as he tweeted, “Just love the circle of life @iamnagarjuna produced my debut #Shiva and now after some 25 years I produced Nagarjuna’s #Officer and now in a full circle Nagarjuna is producing @AkhilAkkineni8 ‘s film with me as director.” After the release of Officer, Nagarjuna fans are fired on RGV and now we have to wait and see whether Nag gives another chance to flop director RGV to direct a movie for Akhil.
