Okkadu 4K Re-release Box office collections: Telugu Superstar Mahesh Babu starrer Okkadu had a grand re release on the 7th of January and the movie went on a strong run at the box office. Written and directed by Gunasekhar, it was a blockbuster at the box office. The re-release trend in Telugu Film Industry began with Mahesh Babu’s Pokiri being the first one to be played on the multiplex screen with the revised technical improvisation of the 4K viewing experience. The movie Okkadu is considered the biggest hit of Mahesh Babu, making him a superstar and rendering him an image until Pokiri by Puri Jagannath that was released in 2006.
The movie has got a good opening at the box office on the first day. The movie – Okkadu 4K earned in the rage of Rs 1.6 crore to 1.8 crore gross on its first day at the box office of both Telugu States- Andhra Pradesh. The movie has gross collections in the range of Rs 90 lakhs on the first day in Nizam area.
It must be said that Okkadu has got good collections on the first day. And the film earned Rs 2.05 crore gross openings on the first day in India.
Okkadu has now set an all time record at the famous RTC X Roads area of Andhra Pradesh as it has collected a whopping Rs 16.93 lakh on the day of its re release.
