The Film producer and Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee working president Bandla Ganesh, has been sentenced to one year jail for a cheque bounce case. In the year2019, Bandla Ganesh borrowed Rs 95 lakh from Jetti Venkateswarlu, who lives in Muppalla village in 2019. Later, he issued a cheque for the same amount on behalf of Parameshwara Art Productions.
However, when Jetti Venkateswarlu tried to cash the cheque at the bank, it bounced due to insufficient funds or other issues. After that he realized that the cheque from Bandla Ganesh had bounced, so he reported the incident to the police and filed an official complaint.
Recently, Bandla Ganesh appeared in Ongole court regarding the same case. On this occasion, the court heard the arguments of both sides and issued the final verdict. Bandla Ganesh was sentenced to one year in jail. It has issued orders to pay 95 lakh rupees within 30 days. The judgment also said that an additional 10,000 should be paid as court costs. But the Ongole court said that an appeal can be made to the higher court within 30 days. It is reported that Bandla Ganesh is also trying to appeal the judgment of the Ongole court to the higher court.
