Parasuram started to work in Telugu Film Industry as an assistant director and assisted Puri Jagannadh and Bommarilu Bhaskar. Parasuram made his directorial debut in 2008 with the film Yuvatha. He is popular for delivering Anjaneyulu, Solo and Geetha Govindam. After delivering Geetha Govindam, Parasruam thought to make movies with top stars of the Telugu Film Industry but the top stars are not showing interest to work with him. Recently it was heard that Parasuram has locked the hero Akhil for his next upcoming directorial venture but still, he is in search of top stars like Mahesh Babu and Prabhas.
Earlier, Parasuram narrated a story to Mahesh Babu and the actor rejected it. It is heard that once again Parasuram met Mahesh Babu and narrated another story to Maharshi star but once again he became fail to impress the actor. The sources say that Parasuram’s story had neither logic nor the storyline line, it had only action and emotion. Now it is said that Parasuram is now desperate to meet Young Rebel star Prabhas. It seems Parasuram is planning to team up with Prabhas.
Everyone is shocked why Parasuram is looking for big heroes such as Mahesh Babu and Prabhas when he has already locked Akhil Akkineni for his project.
In 2018, Parasuram made Geetha Govindam starring the young and talented actor Vijay Devarakonda and Rashmika Mandanna, the film received positive reviews by the critics and became one of the big hits of the year.
Prabhas’ previous offering was action thriller Saaho, helmed by Sujeeth and bankrolled by UV creations. This was the first time when Prabhas shared the screen space with Shraddha Kapoor for a movie. Though it’s Hindi version was super hit but Telugu version commercially flopped. Now Prabhas is working with Radha Krishna Kumar for upcoming romantic entertainer Jaan, which has Pooja Hegde in the female lead.
