Vijay Deverakonda starrer Dear Comrade is turning out disaster at the box office. The movie was released on 26th July and received mixed response on its opening day by the movie lovers and critics but the collections rate at the box office is below par. According to the traders report, the distributors will face losses in few areas.
During the success meet event of Dear Comrade, Vijay Deverakonda was seen in silent mode. He was not seen promoting the film. Generally, when collections drop, the heroes and the team of the movie come forward in the second week and try to push the film even more. But it seems Vijay Deverakonda has decided to maintain silence.
After the release of Dear Comrade, many thought that the action and romantic entertainer will easily be making big money seeing the first weekend collections. But that did not happen as the film collections are going down further now.

Rashmika Mandanna is playing the female lead and after Geetha Govindam, this was the second time when both Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika collaborated together. The movie is directed by Bharat Kamma and is bankrolled by Mythri Movie Makers.
