PM Narendra Modi on Saturday inaugurated Phase I of the redeveloped Ayodhya railway station known as Ayodhya Dham junction railway station  and flag off new Amrit Bharat and Vande Bharat trains. Modi also dedicated several other railway projects to the nation. Modi arrived in Ayodhya to a warm reception by UP chief minister Yogi Adityanath.

 Ayodhya Dham Junction Railway Station, developed at a cost exceeding Rs 240 cr, features a modern 3 storey building equipped with contemporary amenities.

PM Narendra Modi is starting many development programs in Ayodhya before the inauguration of the Ram temple. As part of this, Modi inaugurated the recently renovated Ayodhya Dham railway station. Later two Amrit Bharat trains were flagged off. The Prime Minister launched 6 Vande Bharat Express from the same platform.

According to official sources, Prime Minister Modi will start development works worth Rs 15 thousand cr during this visit. 1,400 artistes from all over the country welcomed the Prime Minister who arrived in Ayodhya with their performance. Artists impressed with their performances on forty stages arranged from the airport to Ayodhya Dham.

Modi inaugurated the Ayodhya Dham station along with Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. 

Narendra Modi’s visit to Ayodhya comes weeks before the grand consecration ceremony of the Ram Temple on 22nd January.
