Recently Prime Minister Modi announced that he will set up a committee on SC Categorization. Prime Minister Modi spoke to senior officials on the same issue. The higher officials were directed to form a committee as soon as possible to speed up the process of SC classification. A meeting was held with the officials along with the Cabinet Secretary and other high officials on Friday.
Recently MMRPS organized a huge gathering in the name of Madigala Vishwaroopa at Hyderabad venue. Prime Minister Narendra Modi also attended this meeting. Along with the SC classification movement, many issues were mentioned in this meeting. It has been announced that efforts will be started towards solving this problem, a high committee will be formed for this purpose. Prime Minister Modi conducted a review accordingly. Several instructions were given to the authorities. With this, there are chances that the SC classification process will be officially completed in the coming days.
MMRPS has been fighting for SC classification for decades. This demand is especially in Telugu states. MMRPS led by Mandakrishna Madiga spearheaded many movements. But in the wake of Prime Minister Modi’s announcement on SC classification, MMRPS has said that it will support the BJP. The BJP is also campaigning in support of the candidates in the assembly elections currently going on in Telangana.
