Police have registered a case against TDP president Chandrababu and several other leaders for causing the clashes in the joint Chittoor districts. A case has been registered that Chandrababu Naidu caused tension in the clashes during his visit to Punganur.

Police have registered a case against Telugu Desam Party President Chandrababu Naidu along with 20 TDP leaders. Chandrababu visited the joint Chittoor district as part of the campaign against the destruction of irrigation projects. A case has been registered against Chandrababu Naidu at Kurabalakota Mandal Mudiveedu Police Station in the wake of the incidents that took place in Angallu of Tamballapalle Constituency of Annamaiya District.

In this case Chandrababu Naidu was named as A1, Devineni Uma as A2, Amarnath Reddy as A3 and Ramgopal Reddy as A4. Along with them, a case was filed against 20 people including Nallari Kishore Kumar Reddy, Dammalapati Ramesh, Ganta Narahari, Sriram Chinababu and Pulavarthy Nani. A case has also been registered against several TDP leaders claiming that others were also involved in the same case. According to the complaint filed by YCP leader Umapati Reddy, the police have registered cases of attempted murder and criminal conspiracy in the FIR.
