Police case registered against Pawan Kalyan

A police case has been registered in Vijayawada against  Jana sena chief  and actor Power Star Pawan Kalyan who made inappropriate comments on volunteers. Pawan Kalyan’s comments that volunteers are giving information to anti-social forces have created a furor across the state. Pawan recently alleged that the police failed to trace the whereabouts of a number of women who were missing. It is alleged that most of the trafficking of women in the country is happening in AP and the volunteers are passing on the information of women to the anti-social forces. Pawan accused that the information of women in every house in every village was being sidetracked and there were huge protests. Protests were held across the state.

A case was registered at the Vijayawada Krishna Lanka Police Station after the volunteers complained that action should be taken against Pawan Kalyan who had made inappropriate comments against them. A case has been registered against Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan under sections 153, 153A and 502(2) of the IPC.

A case has been registered against Pawan under IPC 153 for trying to disturb the peace and security of the society. Section 153A was also added for making these comments in a public forum. A case has been registered under Section 502(2) IPC for insulting and insulting the volunteers.
