Ponnam Prabhakar took charge as the Minister of State for Transport and BC Welfare on Monday at the Secretariat. Vedic scholars blessed Minister Ponnam. After assuming charge as Minister,  Husnabad MLA Ponnam Prabhakar sanctioned Rs 375 crore to TSRTC in his chambers at the Secretariat in Hyderabad on Monday. Vani Prasad, Principal Secretary, Transport, signed with Minister Ponnam. As part of various concessions under the third quarter budget to RTC, Rs. 375 crore funds were released by Minister Ponnam.

The Minister signed the file regarding the compensation of one lakh to the family of Pandu Babu, an employee of the Transport Department who died during Corona. RTC MD VC Sajjanar was present along with the Principal Secretary, Transport Department.

Ministers Konda Surekha, Jupalli Krishna Rao, Tummala Nageswara Rao, MLAs Vivek Venkataswamy, Medipalli Satyam, former MPs Madhu Yaski Goud, Mainampalli Hanumantha Rao, Balaram Naik, Anjan Kumar Yadav, State Congress party affairs in-charge Manik Rao Thackeray, among those who congratulated Minister Ponnam. PCC Vice President Mallu Ravi, TPCC Working President Mahesh Kumar Goud and others were present.

A large number of fans came from Husnabad to congratulate Ponnam Prabhakar, who took charge as a minister in the Secretariat on Monday.
