Ponniyan Selvan Box office collections: Mani Ratnam‘s film Ponniyan Selvan continues to cross new milestones with each passing weekend. The big budget drama had a terrific opening in southern states, while the Hindi version performed fairly decently. The movie Ponniyin Selvan is based on Kalki’s novel, and the film part was released on 30th September continues to perform well at the box office. The movie is made on the budget of almost Rs 500 crores with stars from across the industries in lead roles. The positive reviews boosted Mani Ratnam’ magnum opus, and the epic historical drama has been on the rampage at the box office for over a week. As per the trade reports, the film Ponniyan Selvan has crossed 25,000 admissions in France.
The Industry tracker Ramesh Bala confirmed the same by sharing a post on Twitter: PS1 has crossed 25,000 admissions in France.
The worldwide collection of Karthi, Vikram, Trisha Krishnan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan at the end of day 8 stands at around Rs 345 crores, and the film is set to breach the 350 mark soon.
The movie doing well in Telugu and Northern states and it is marching towards some historical numbers at the box office as the tickets for the second weekend go Housefull. The ticket bookings for Monday and upcoming days look strong.
