Trade analyst Ramesh Bala revealed the day 4 worldwide box office collection of Ponniyin Selvan on his official Twitter handle.

The big budget historic drama is produced by Mani Ratnam along with Subaskaran of Lyca Productions. It is the first of two cinematic parts based on Kalki Krishnamurthy’s 1955 novel Ponniyin Selvan.
The first part of Ponniyin Selvan hit the theatres on 30th September amid huge fanfare. The film was released in the 5 languages across the globe. Composer AR Rahman, editor Sreekar Prasad, cinematographer Ravi Varman, and choreographer Brinda are part of the technical crew of Mani Ratnam’ magnum opus.
